My 9 year old daughter and myself have been coming to Sunrise Counseling for 6 months. Kamilah has worked with my daughter on social anxiety, ADHD and coping skills. She is Amazing. She has helped giving my daughter the confidence to advocate for herself without being overwhelmed. I see Nicole Ligorio who is helping me with Anxiety. She has helped me so much with getting through daily tasks without being overwhelmed. The Staff is so friendly, especially Derve who greets us at the reception desk. The director Richard Scheinberg has been so helpful with finding the right fit for our needs. I highly recommend Sunrise Counseling.

OMG Ms. Emma Press is THE ABSOLUTE BEST therapist I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. She not only listens, understands and validates me but I feel like I don’t have to constantly explain myself with her, she just automatically understands. She’s so in tune with connecting with me and even though we see each other once a week, she is ALWAYS on top of her game with me. She remembers all the stories I tell her, she remembers people in my life BY NAME. She is truly truly amazing. It really makes my week to see her. She is one of the few people who just truly understands and is so empathetic with me. I feel like my anxiety is completely gone already. She really helps me frame and get the hold of situations mentally and is just the best with putting me in the right mindset and giving me the best advice on how to handle things on top of exercises to do during the week until I see her again. She is truly truly amazing. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend her. She simply has a gift for what she does and she really genuinely loves what she does. She really is amazing. THANK YOU SO SO SO MUCH EMMA I LOOOVE SEEING YOU <3 You have GREATLY improved my life.

I can’t leave enough stars for my therapist, Emma. We started our sessions when I was at my lowest point. She is actively involved in my care and was constantly giving me little homework’s and tasks to do on my own in between sessions. I am a completely different person a year later. I never thought I’d be happy and content. She not only validated the things I’ve gone through but she would always point out my actions and the reasoning for them. I would not be where I am in life if it wasn’t for Emma. I was able to “graduate” from therapy. If you want a therapist that is on top of everything, doesn’t just sit there and listen but have plans of attack for everything, choose her. You won’t regret it. Thanks, Emma 💜

I absolutely love it here my therapist understands and listens to me, she’s also very supportive along with the rest of the staff. I also enjoy that everyone is very accommodating and supportive.

Rich and his office staff have been exceptional in helping me and my entire family deal with small issues to larger challenges that can come into one’s life over the past 20 years. His receptionist are always very nice, welcoming and accommodating even on short notice. Thank you to the entire Sunrise staff for always being there to help in a time of need !

I took my daughter here for her first appointment yesterday. The receptionist was nice & welcoming. Her therapist is Megan and from what I can tell right now, I like her style of approaching on how to help my daughter sort through her anxiety. She's a sweetheart. I can't speak on the other therapists in the office but Megan seems to be a great therapist & hopefully a great fit for my daughter. Also her office is very inviting.

Dr. Naqvi abandoned my daughter and neither he nor anyone in this “practice” provided her with an alternative practitioner to treat her or continue her meds. The ”team” is unprofessional, unresponsive, and have no regard for the health and well being of the patients entrusted to their care. Please do not entrust your loved ones to this place.

Good experience with Nicole. She was very easy to talk to and offered lots of good advice and encouragement. I was not a fan of the worksheets personally but they did trigger some good conversation which I guess is the point. Overall pleased with my experience.
